In a climate where well priced properties are attracting multiple offers and selling quickly, it’s important for both sides of the transaction to be represented separately by experienced agents. Dual agency, though recognized by NY State, is problematic. Experienced brokers widely acknowledge that when each side has its own representation, the likelihood is greater that the deal will proceed more smoothly and with fewer hiccups to a successful close.
